Unlike any previous change, digitalization has affected the existing and deeply rooted business model. We can claim with confidence that nowadays almost all companies are using some form of digital technology, as well as that their fast development may be both an opportunity and a threat for companies’ business operations. On September 27, 2018 at the Sheraton hotel in Nov Sad, M&I Systems organized an event with the topic of Digital Enterprise. Through a program of events and a series of presentations and use cases, it was shown how a combination of solutions, technologies and knowledge can help companies achieve complete process automation, thus becoming a Digital Enterprise.

The BEYOND digital platform was presented as a response to questions such as “How to use IT as a competitive advantage in business development’”, “How to reexamine the existing business models?”, “How to improve the way of delivering value to customers and the way of adapting to change”. Since all companies use several different IT systems, this platform will enable efficient integration and communication between these systems. BEYOND will enable digital transformation of your business logic, the analysis of the existing company data and processes will result in a quality decision-making system and end-to-end business, maximizing the potential of digitization.

Because of the challenges arising from digitalization and technological development, the term robot, with a slightly altered meaning, is entering everyday vocabulary. Nearly half of the activities performed by individuals in companies within some industries today can be automated. Every day, employees perform hundreds of business tasks and processes that require accuracy and speed, but do not necessarily require decision-making. The rapid technological evolution has enabled various options for achieving business process automation and business improvement. At the event, Robotiq.ai, the new member company of M&I Systems, Co. Group, presented its specialty and one of the ways of achieving business process automation – RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
