Memorandum of understanding of the FEFA coalition for digital transformation was signed

In addition to having branch offices in two university cities, Novi Sad and Graz, M&I Systems has gone a step further when it comes to the cooperation with the academic community. On the occasion of the launch of the new Digital Transformation master’s program, scheduled to begin on February 19, 2018, FEFA and M&I Systems signed a Memorandum of Understanding of the FEFA Coalition for Digital Transformation. This initiative aims to improve study programs through the appropriate positioning of business competencies determined by the digital transformation process, recognizing the strategic importance of their alignment with global trends. FEFA is a faculty founded in 2003, as the first accredited private faculty in the field of economics and management. Also, since 2007, the faculty has been an associate member of the Harvard Business School Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, and has been applying their teaching methods.
The concept is rooted and based on the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the expansion of the contact network among those who will be carrying out this program. It is about the need to understand time in the world of new technologies, about how to adapt and how to transform new business models. This study program will provide the students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful business process management in the digital environment. The participation of experts in lectures and workshops, forming talent teams, writing up case studies, and taking part in professional practices are just some of the examples of the planned cooperation. Digital Transformation master’s program, a unique combination of business and information systems, is the first accredited program of its kind in Serbia.
The extent to which companies implement digital transformation is still not keeping pace with fast technological growth, development, and innovation. Why is that? Because digital transformation, among other things, entails changing the way of thinking and the state of mind of all employees. Technology is the engine and the tool of digital transformation, but people are its basis on all levels. As a company whose strategic path is precisely that of digital transformation, M&I Systems sees this cooperation as an opportunity to engage and contribute to the development of awareness of new technologies and the making of new experts.
