The 5th ICV Congress of Controllers will be taking place in Belgrade on May 26, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza hotel and M&I Systems both supports and participates in this year’s Congress.

The main topic of the Congress is “Controller 4.0 – Business Digitalization”

How is digitalization changing business?
Which industries will perish, and which will be radically transformed?
Will we be shopping exclusively via mobile phones in the future?
Will there be controllers in the future or will they be replaced by robots?
How is business digitalization changing the role of the controller?

These are just some of the issues that will be discussed at this year’s Congress, and that the participants and speakers will try to answer based on practical experience. This Congress is a unique opportunity for networking and exchange of ideas and concrete experiences from practice, which is a very useful tool in the world of finance. The opportunity to meet people from the industry who are doing a similar job and are faced with similar challenges is crucial because through conversation you will learn how they approach their work and perform everyday tasks. This will potentially help you improve the processes in your company because some companies had been dealing with similar problems for which they have already found suitable system solutions.

The International Controller Association (ICV) is the world’s largest association of controllers seated in Germany. It was founded in 1975 and it has more than 8000 members in 20 countries. ICV Serbia was founded in 2011 and it is the largest work group outside Germany with its 250 members. The 5th ICV Congress of Controllers is the main controlling event in former Yugoslavia that will gather more than 400 controllers and CFOs from Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia.

There will be 21 exceptional speakers from practice at the Congress, mostly CEOs, CFOs or Heads of Controlling. The main topic of the Congress is “Controller 4.0 – Business Digitalization”. In addition to the main speakers, there will be two panels at the congress:
HR PANEL – How is working with people changed by digitalization?
MARKETING PANEL – What will the (digital) marketing of the future look like?
